Wildly Charming + Progress Updates

Eliraz and Rune again. This might hint to what the story is about. :D Eep, running out of buffer sketches, I need to scan some new ones. lol Got a bunch drawn, just need to scan them in.

Finally found a title for my Beauty and the Beast story version. It should now be called "Wildly Charming". X3 I like it, although slightly cliche it does appeal to the personalities of the characters and it beats the normal "Beauty and the Beast" or "Beastly". XD I've also worked on their story a bit, still a little fuzzy on the middle and end but it's getting done. lol



Working on clothing designs for the different cultures in Blindfolded Love. Most of them are pretty crazy in the design but I like them. XD Just been practicing consistency and just drawing concept art of the different clans and villages. Also need to work on drawing animals...and forests...well landscapes in general. Starting to get more consistent in drawing my main characters for BL which is good. :D

Ok, the plan is to get my butt into gear. Now that I'm on break I have no excuse besides me just bumming around online. lol Tomorrow I will start getting serious! Got a new notebook which I will use to record the things I need to get done with my comics. ^_^ Two birds with one stone. Although, my plan is to refine and fix Unleash by making it more easy to read and adding pages as well as finally toning it...whenever I get used to that. I also need to work on AlieNations but I'll work on that after I get most of Unleash and BL done.

Mini-Comic: Somniare - Buffet

Here's my mini-comic that I finished for www.minicomics.org. I finished all the pages but I didn't get to put it all together or draw a cover. It was a total mess, I had trouble deciding what to do the comic on. I was working on one then decided it was too complicated...So I changed my topic. XD Anyways, please let me know what you think. I'll add more tomorrow. OTL *is sleepy* Sorry for the quality of the images, will scan it in later, these are just photos...lol

EDIT: Still need to update the photos, sorry. ^^;; Anyways, the idea was from a dream which sort of explains the title. Somniare translates to "to dream" in Latin. Buffet was just the idea of the comic. XD I hope to do some more Somniare mini-comics as soon as I come up with any inspirational dreams. Wanted to keep the idea simple, in my dreams there were more specific foods so I left the food here as general blobs. XD I actually changed my mind towards the end of the day. I had the other mini-comic all scripted out and thumb-nailed but as I was drawing it, I thought it was too complicated, so I started over completely. XD Kinda funny, ate at a buffet just yesterday too. lol

Mini-Comic Day

OMG I totally didn't mean to drop off the face of the earth. Turns out that a few weeks after SPACE was finals for me. So of course I spent most of my time doing h/w and studying. After next week I'll be completely done!!! Oh man, I've got plans on what I'm going to do with my free time. Mostly comics/drawing, learning more coding/languages(computer and speaking), and enjoying a social life. ^^;

Just finished one big test yesterday which I'm iffy about whether or not I did decently or not....Eh, oh well I know I'm going to pass and graduate....Got another take-home-exam which I'm happy about not having to study, but I won't officially be done until next week but I'm squeezing in this journal and attempting to do Mini-Comic day. http://www.minicomics.org Let me know if you're going to do it too! This comic is most likely going to be super spontaneous and will most likely be my first completed comic with probably horrible story and art but I need to finish something. XD



Anyways, I've been wanting to do these comic days (only knew about 24 hour comic day) for awhile and when I heard Mini-Comic day was coming up, I had a dilemma. If I should focus on finishing h/w or do the comic....I figure I should do the comic since I'm almost done with the h/w for this week. :D I should have been doing it today but I lacked motivation after I finished a different assignment earlier today. XD

For the Mini-Comic they said we could prep but I'm not sure how much I can...since I've never done a mini-comic before I had to figure out how it was going to work. So I've already folded the pages and determine how the page order will work. I'm sticking with traditional artwork, etc, just to make it easy for me. It's very unlikely I'll distribute it, it's only for my own enjoyment. lol I'll probably post links or something on here when I'm done. :D

Anyways, hope you all have been doing well and surviving. :D
